The Best NYC Restaurants Dishin' Out Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving dinner will likely look very different this year for most of us, with a lot of New Yorkers opting to not travel home for the holidays. We rounded up a list of delicious Thanksgiving dinners being offered by some of the best restaurants in the city to make celebrating this year feel like home. 

Dante NYC
This beloved west village institution is serving a $95 per person prix fixe meal and will feature Cosmotini Royale, chicory salad, figs & San Daniele, or a seafood platter. Main dishes include a choice of oven-roasted turkey breast with apricot and sage stuffing, agave glazed ham with apple mostarda, and a vegetarian option of mushroom lasagna. For the table, sides include farm-fresh roasted squash with maple glaze, roasted brussels sprouts with crispy bacon, creamy mashed potatoes with melted butter, and wilted spinach with fresh garlic and shallots. Dessert is homemade apple pie or caramelized pecan pie and pumpkin eggnog! Available for takeout as well.

Le Crocodile
Le Crocodile, located inside the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, is featuring a special Thanksgiving menu created by chefs Jake Leiber and Aidan O’Neal. It’s available outdoor, indoor, or in private dining rooms. $110 per person inside or outside or $150 per person in the private dining rooms. Appetizers include a winter squash soup with black truffle or a waldorf salad. The main feast features a heritage turkey carved to order with cranberry sauce, sourdough stuffing with sage and pork sausage, mashed potatoes, honey and maple glazed carrots, and green bean casserole with mushrooms. To top it off – choose from a pear frangipane tart with whipped cream, pumpkin pie with brandy cream, or concord grape sorbet, chocolate sorbet, pistachio ice cream, or maple ice cream. *Vegetarian menu is available upon request. Reservations are available between 2:30PM – 9PM for parties of 2-6 guests.

The Dutch
Andrew Carmellini’s almost decade-old Soho restaurant, The Dutch, is doing a three-course Thanksgiving Day meal priced at $130 per person. Some options for appetizers include half dozen wellfleet oysters, farmers salad, king crab tostada, and wagyu steak tartare. The main course family-style meal includes organic roast turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, brussels sprouts with bacon, spoon bread stuffing, and roasted squash. For dessert, there is salted caramel chocolate cake, apple pie, or pecan pie. The meal is being served between 1PM and 8PM. There is also a To Go option priced at $85 per person that includes roast turkey with mushrooms and chestnuts, brussels sprouts with bacon and horseradish, and cranberry-orange chutney.

Roxy Bar and Lounge
Roxy Bar and Lounge will be offering a jazz-filled Thanksgiving feast from Thursday from 4PM and 10PM. Featuring prix-fixe or à la carte options, seasonal cocktails, and live entertainment. The prix-fixe menu is $75 per person. Choose from a starter of tuna tartare, winter squash soup, frisée lardon, or white truffle fettuccine for a supplement of $20. For the main course, choose from wild mushroom risotto, herb-roasted turkey with chestnut apple stuffing and sweet potato purée, seared atlantic red snapper, or a port braised short rib. Top it off with a brown butter pumpkin pie with cranberry citrus sauce, Billy’s chocolate cake, or honeycrisp apple cobbler.  Reservations are encouraged and can be made through Resy.

Odeon
A French brasserie and a beacon for Manhattan nighthawks since the early 1980s, the Odeon continues to be a neighborhood staple. This Thanksgiving, they will offer a variety of specials including roasted all-natural turkey breast, cornbread-sausage stuffing, baby carrots & baby brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, potato purée, and gravy for $45. Finish with pumpkin or pecan pie with maple whipped cream.

Grand Bar and Lounge
Grand Bar and Lounge at Soho Grand Hotel will be offering a grand feast on Thursday between 4PM and 10PM. Offerings include a $70 prix fixe menu or à la carte options. First course offerings include seared diver scallops, white truffle fettuccine for a supplement of $20, winter pumpkin soup, or pear salad. Mains include an herb roasted turkey with a confit wellington, celeriac potato puree, roasted brussel sprouts, and cranberry sauce, a cider braised short rib, roasted romanesco, or slow baked arctic char. For dessert, try the pumpkin tart, passion fruit tart, or chai spiced apple cobbler. Reservations are encouraged.
