NYC Restaurants Dishin' Out Thanksgiving

We round up the most delicious Thanksgiving feasts being offered by some of the best restaurants in the city to make celebrating this year feel like home. 

Roxy Bar and Lounge

Roxy Bar and Lounge will be offering a jazz-filled Thanksgiving feast from Thursday from 6pm to 9pm. Featuring a special Thanksgiving menu, seasonal cocktails, and live entertainment from Roxy resident pianist Michael Garin. Choose from a starter of seared diver scallops or black truffle tagliatelle. For mains, go for the herb-roasted turkey or braised short rib. Top it off with your choice of seasonal desserts.

Join the AbcV team led by Jean-Georges Vongerichten at the light, stylish outpost on East 19th Street for a choice of full à la carte or family-style coursed menus from 12 to 8pm. The $148 per person family-style offering includes potato dumplings, chicory salad, fried parsnips, roasted caraflex cabbage, and sides like potatoes with sherry mushroom gravy. Desserts are a pumpkin sundae or a whiskey pecan date pie.

The Dutch

Andrew Carmellini’s almost decade-old Soho restaurant, The Dutch, is doing a three-course Thanksgiving Day meal priced at $165 per person. Some options for appetizers include half a dozen Wellfleet oysters, farmer’s salad, baked brie. The main course family-style meal includes organic roast turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, brussels sprouts, and roasted butternut squash. For dessert, there is classic chocolate pudding, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. The meal is being served between 1pm and 8pm. There is also a to-go option priced at $115 per person available for pick up at sister restaurant Lafayette.

Odeon

A French brasserie and beacon for Manhattan Nighthawks since the early ’80s, the Odeon continues to be a neighborhood staple. This year, they are offering a Thanksgiving platter including roasted turkey breast with gravy, cornbread-sausage stuffing, baby Brussels sprouts, baby carrots, whipped potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Finish with pumpkin or pecan pie with maple whipped cream. All for $52.

Soho Diner 

A modern riff on the classic American diner, Soho Diner will be dishing out a feast of roasted organic Turkey with apple-chestnut stuffing and mashed potato with a side of crispy garlic green beans, blood orange cranberry sauce and Turkey-sage gravy. For dessert, enjoy a choice of brown butter pumpkin pie with maple vanilla whipped cream or apple pie by Petee’s Pie. All for $42.

Dante NYC

This beloved West Village institution has created a special Thanksgiving menu that pairs a fall-inspired spiced cranberry spritz with a seasonal menu. The offering includes a chicory salad with granny smith apples, clothbound cheddar and maple vinaigrette, a choice of oven-roasted organic turkey breast with apricot and sage stuffing or agave glazed ham with apple mostarda, plus sides for the table and desserts. Be sure to finish up with Dante’s tiramisu eggnog.

Frenchette

This famed French bistro and James Beard Award winner from Chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson (formerly at the helm of Balthazar, Pastis, Minetta Tavern) is preparing Thanksgiving take-home feasts to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Try the turkey with all the trimmings, mashed potatoes, and pies. Orders must be placed in advance.
