New York’s only sustainable omakase restaurant and among the Village Voice’s “Top Ten Best New Restaurants in 2017,” Mayanoki (my-ya-no-key) is a sushi restaurant that focuses on serving locally and sustainably sourced seafood. From working directly with fishermen to being the only sushi restaurant in New York City recognized by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch for sustainability, Mayanoki stands behind prolonging the life of our oceans and making sure those values are at the core of everything they do.
Dinners are served in a traditional multi-course omakase format in an intimate setting where guests can watch how their dinner is prepared and learn firsthand where the ingredients come from. Wine pairings are optional and share an equal focus on sustainability and supporting local vineyards. Mayanoki’s outstanding 15-course omakase starts at $95 per person.
