Corner Delhi offers a delightful alternative to a timeless narrative. Chef and owner Tariq Haq takes inspiration from his mum and nan’s traditional Indian home-style cooking to create homey, comforting and nourishing food that honors his birthplace of Bombay, upbringing in Britain, and current home in Brooklyn. The menu is revised regularly to incorporate fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced produce, the cornerstone of the restaurant’s ethos. Starters, salads, mains and accompaniments include the classics—samosas, saag paneer, butter noodles, curries, and tandoori chicken, among others—while the drinks list reflects a Brooklyn sensibility with of-the-moment wines and inspired cocktails. The space is dimly lit by candles and sconces creating a relaxed, cozy feel that will have you staying for dessert and another round of drinks.
