Located on the same SoHo block as the original Blue Ribbon, this top-rated jewel in the Blue Ribbon family offers fresh seafood flown in daily from both the Atlantic and Pacific, as well as from the Sea of Japan. The seafood is then artistically crafted into some of the best sushi in the city. The shrimp shumai and dragon rolls are our favorites, though we recommend ordering as much as possible from the daily menu. Freshness is key here and the enormous selections of sake, including seasonal unpasteurized sake is no exception. Other standouts are the spicy fish soup, the kai fri with fried oysters and lettuce, and green tea crème Brulee for dessert. Open until 2am, Blue Ribbon Sushi is another popular haunt among restaurant industry insiders.
